I'm based in Cumbria and enjoy creating 2 and 3 D art.

 

I like working with  chicken wire and enjoy the challenge of sculpting with it to create life size characters. I try to get the general proportions correct from photographs but make allowances so as to create slight quirks and a cartoon quality which makes it fun do.

 

I'm also very fond of molding Fimo Clay and make pieces on one sort of background or another e.g. box canvases, perforated metal sheeting, celebration cakes or cheesy truckles, which host clambering men, "Busy Bods", busying themselves in silly tasks. 

 

I draw and paint and especially love life drawing and portraiture. I'm lucky enough to have joined an enthusiastic group of arty bods at "GoFigure" near Keswick, and "PULP", in Stainton, where we meet up and learn from one another.

Sometimes though, it's just nice grab bag and boots to go out and about sketching, maybe with vague thoughts of refining my scribbles at home later, though, more often than not, I don't get that far, but I enjoy the whole process all the same :)
